Andreia, is a self confessed interior lover and started a blog when she bought a run down 1930's house that needed complete renovation. Her blog is a way of sharing renovation and home decor ideas as well as giving honest reviews of different products. Her home decor instagram account @labonneviehome has over 61k followers where she posts all things interior related.
Andreia has recently embarked on a very large extension which included a new dining room, kitchen, utility, shower room and living room. After four years of hard work renovating and working extra jobs to save up, sleeping on her mum’s living room floor and from recovering from major back surgery, she has finally finished and is so happy with the final result!
The vision Andreia had in mind for her living area of the extension was a feature fireplace wall which would house a sleek contemporary fire and large flat screen TV, with feature tiles either side in soft white tones to complement the grey and silver tones within the rest of the open-plan area. Our sparkle white split face mosaic tiles are just what she needed to add a touch of sparkle to her room as the natural quartzite adds a light reflecting quality. The undulating texture of these wonderful tiles provides interest and glamour to her space and added contrast to her walls.
Andreia explains "Our tiles are the white split face mosaic tiles. We were inspired to create a striking feature and we are couldn’t be more happy with the final result. The tiles are even more stunning in person, they have an amazing sparkle effect and are so glamorous, they’ve really added that wow factor to our new space. These can be used indoors or outdoors too which is just brilliant. The tiles look excellent around our evonic fireplace. Thank you so much to The Stone and Tile Company for helping us put this design together. It is even better than we could have ever imagined!"
Split face mosaics not only look amazing in a living room, you can fit them as a kitchen splash back, hallway feature wall, surrounding a fireplace or even take them outside and use them as cladding tiles for garden walls, BBQ areas or even the front of your home.
